Our take
Huge screen, superb 5x telephoto and the longest battery life of any iPhone of its year. Still an excellent buy at a discount.
For phones we look past launch-week impressions: battery health after a year of daily charging, how the camera handles indoor and low-light shots, and whether the software keeps the phone feeling quick.
Pros
- Outstanding battery life
- 5x telephoto on both Pro sizes
- Camera Control button
Cons
- Big and heavy
- Camera Control takes practice
