About Orchard Lab

Orchard Lab is a small, independent site run by people who use Apple hardware every day for work: writing, photography and software development.

We started in 2023 because most reviews we read were written in the first week with a product. We wanted to know what it was like in month six. So we started writing that down.

Ethics

• We are not affiliated with Apple Inc. and receive no payment from manufacturers.
• We buy most products at retail. Loan units are disclosed in the review.
• Nobody outside the team sees a review before it is published.
