Our take
Still a great big-screen laptop at a discount. Look for 16GB configurations; early base models shipped with 8GB.
Every Mac we review becomes someone’s main computer for at least a month. We pay most attention to sustained performance, fan noise, battery life on real workdays and how far the base memory goes.
Pros
- Big screen, light body
- Long battery life
- Fanless
Cons
- 8GB in early base models
- Superseded by M4
