AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation
Noise cancellation in an open-fit earbud sounds unlikely, but it works well enough on commutes. A great choice if silicone tips bother you.

Our take
Noise cancellation in an open-fit earbud sounds unlikely, but it works well enough on commutes. A great choice if silicone tips bother you.
We listen on commutes, flights and long days at a desk, and compare noise cancellation, call quality and fit against the earlier models we still own.
Pros
- Comfortable open fit
- Surprisingly useful ANC
- Wireless charging case
Cons
- ANC weaker than AirPods Pro
- No volume swipe
