iPhone 15 Pro after two years
Titanium scratches, battery health at 84% and a phone that still feels fast. Should owners upgrade?
My iPhone 15 Pro has been my only phone for two years, used daily without a case for the last eight months. Here are my notes.
Condition
The titanium frame has small scuffs at the corners but no dents. The back glass survived two falls onto pavement. The screen protector took the worst of it.
Battery
Battery Health is at 84% after a little over 600 cycles. On busy days with navigation and lots of camera use I now need a top-up in the late afternoon; on normal days it still makes it to bed.
Performance
It remains fast. The only time I notice its age is during long video recordings, when it gets warm and the screen dims.
Should you upgrade?
Only if the camera or battery bother you. The 17 Pro is better in both, but a battery replacement would give this phone another two good years for a fraction of the price.
